Fully duplicated systems monitored by central microprocessor controlling all tests, collating data,
analyzing results and displaying error codes

Interconnection from Fire & Gas, Process Control, Shutdown systems etc will be monitored for open and
short circuit

Main Control Systems will be built using 19” Rack equipment

Access Panels can either be 19” rack, wall mounted or custom built to suit site requirements

Power Supply 110 - 250V ac and 24V dc with battery backup, all inside main control equipment

Access Panel Circuits will be fully duplicated and fault monitored

System surveillance design will ensure full security of complete emergency control and audio paths
|

Integrity, fault monitoring and warning shall be in accordance with BS 5839 Pt 8 1998

All Critical Control and Audio Paths from the external initiation sources, secure access unit/s and
emergency message / tone units to the field mounted horns / speakers will be fully monitored
|
 |
The monitoring system will show all faults using a 7 segment LED display and can provide facilities for
remote indication of these signals if required.

All monitoring of audio paths will be inaudible
|
 |
Failure of any card or module required to maintain system integrity shall be
clearly identified and the system shall provide for automatic substitution
|
 |
Beacon monitoring circuits for continuity checking
